OOoCon 2009: vince Orvieto

La conferenza mondiale annuale di OpenOffice.org si terrà in Italia, ad Orvieto. La proposta presentata dal PLIO, dal LUG di Orvieto e da istituzioni locali è stata la più votata dalla comunità.

Segue l’annuncio ufficiale in inglese.

Members of the OpenOffice.org Community have selected Orvieto, Italy as the venue for their Annual Conference (OOoCon), to be held between in November 2009.

Following a community consultation process, Orvieto, Italy emerged as a clear favourite with 48% of the votes. Budapest, Hungary was second with 29%. The remaining five bids all scored less than 10% each.

As a result:

  • Orvieto will host OOoCon in 2009
  • Budapest will host OOoCon in 2010
