In particolare
John McCreesh, OpenOffice.org’s marketing lead, told ZDNet UK that the team – whose free office productivity software project was set up under the auspices of Sun in 2000 – was “pleased that the uncertainty is coming to an end” (a reference to the many rumours of IBM being the one to buy Sun).
“We’ve been very comfortable with the way that Sun set up the project and has kept a careful eye on us over the years,” McCreesh said. “They’ll be a hard act to follow, but we’ll approach the future with optimism and an open mind.”
